Terms

The fine print, in plain language.

Terms governing the Automine website. Engagements are governed by a separate Master Services Agreement. Last updated May 10, 2026.

§ 01

Overview

These terms govern your use of https://automine.ai and any public communication you have with Automine. By using the site or contacting us, you agree to them.

If you engage us to do paid work, that engagement is governed by a separate Master Services Agreement (MSA) that we sign before any billable work begins. Where these terms and the MSA conflict, the MSA wins for everything inside the scope of the engagement.

§ 02

Who we are

Automine is a Canadian AI and automation studio operating from Ontario, Canada. References to “we,” “us,” or Automine” in these terms refer to the studio.

§ 03

Use of the site

You may read, share, and reference the content on this site for any legitimate purpose, including evaluating us as a potential vendor. You may not:

  • Scrape the site at high frequency or in ways that interfere with normal traffic.
  • Use the contact form to send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or malicious content.
  • Probe or test the security of the site without prior written permission.
  • Pretend to be us, copy our trademarks, or reproduce the site wholesale as your own.

§ 04

Intellectual property

The site design, copy, brand marks, and code are owned by Automine or licensed to us. Quoting short passages with attribution is fine. Republishing the whole thing is not.

Anything you submit to us through the contact form, email, or a call remains your information. We use it to evaluate the opportunity and respond to you, in line with our privacy policy.

§ 05

Engagement terms

Booking an audit call or sending us a message does not create a contractual engagement. Paid work begins only when both sides sign a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work that names the deliverables, price, and timeline.

The audit call itself is free and non-binding for both sides. About a third of audit calls end with us recommending you don't hire us, and that's a normal outcome.

§ 06

Third-party services

The site uses third-party services for hosting, analytics, calendar bookings, and email delivery. When you use those features (for example, the booking popup), the third party's own terms apply within their interface. We've chosen partners that align with our Canadian-residency defaults and listed them in our privacy policy.

§ 07

Disclaimers

The site is provided on an “as is” basis. We try to keep everything accurate and up to date, but we don't warrant that every detail is current, that every link works, or that the site is free of bugs. The content here is for informational purposes and is not legal, tax, or investment advice.

Forward-looking statements - timelines, expected ROI ranges, cost estimates - are based on typical engagements. Your specific outcome will depend on the work we agree to and is governed by the MSA, not by anything published on this site.

§ 08

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Canadian law, Automine is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for direct damages connected to your use of the site (separate from any signed engagement) is capped at one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100). Liability inside an active engagement is governed by the MSA.

§ 09

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

§ 10

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our practices evolve. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated at the top of the page. If you have an active engagement with us, the MSA controls and these terms only update for ongoing site use.
